Coach Jones is one of the newest football coaches here at Rosebud-Lott. He is originally from San Augustine, Tx. Coach Jones graduated from Broaddus High School in 2016. He attended The University of Texas in Tyler, where he played college basketball and then later went on to go semi-pro for football for a team in Maryland and Texas.
“Yea,” Coach Jones said. “I’m a pure athlete.”
Coach Jones, also known as, ‘That Guy’ is here for his first year of teaching. He is the head defensive line football coach for the Cougars. He began his coaching career after being sidelined by a knee injury. He coaches now to keep the dream alive and to continue to do what his heart loves, helping the students the best way he can here at Rosebud-Lott.
