Athletes of the Week are Kinsley Edwards, Nik Caproni, Breon Lewis, Mekenzie Scheler, and Jimena Degallado. To begin, Kinsley preformed when her team needed her the most, and played a brand new position. “She stayed up late for extra reps afrer practice, made a great catch in right field against thrall, and stole 2nd in the Thornedale game”, said Coach G. She was definitely a phenomenal leader this week! Nik and Breon brought home medals, placing 3th in a tough Boys Doubles Bracket. Coach H said, “Jimena and Mekenzie combined a total of 54 points to help the 8th grade girls win a district championship. I am very happy with their effort and the way they competed this past Friday!”.
