High school members of the Roaring Cougar Band tried out for the Centex Honor Band this past week. Students from all over Central Texas try out for this honor and the following members made the cut. The clinic and concert will be this Saturday at Connally High School in Waco.

Symphonic Band:

Adrianna Bouvier – 9th chair, Clarinet

Kailey Sims – 6th chair, Trombone

Jorge Perez – 1st chair, Baritone

Alejandro Ramirez – 4th chair, Tuba

Concert Band:

Allie Kendall – 3rd chair, Flute

Maria Portillo – 12th chair, Clarinet

Eli Perez – 5th chair, Baritone

Amy Diaz – 4th chair, Percussion
