Jamarquis Johnson is the only Cougar this year that is on his way to the State Track and Field meet later this May. His jump of 23′ 1/2″ catapulted him to the top of the standings in the long jump and earned him the championship title. He will also be competing in the triple jump, as he placed second in the region as well.

Other athletes attending the regional meet were seniors Jordan Landrum, Zane Zeinert, Chloe Vega; juniors Breon Lewis, Kyle Finan and Easton Fulton and freshman Kinsley Edwards. All did outstanding in their events, but fell of a state bid.
