On Saturday, October 9th, The Rosebud-Lott High School Band competed in the 2021 Whitney Marching Festival. The band did fantastic work, achieving 10th place and advancing to finals for the first time in history, amongst 29 other 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A bands. Later that evening, the RL band got the opportunity to perform once more in the finals round; placing 9th place out of 10 other bands. RL came out on top of all of the other 2A bands, beating Bosqueville in the finals. The band is ecstatic to compete at their regional UIL competition at La Vega; Wednesday, October 20th.
