The Rosebud-Lott Welding team competed in the Texas Rice Festival last week ini Beaumont. Eric Hernandez took 3rd place out of 97 competitors and received a Level 1 certification and a $500 scholarship from the OSHA Corporation. The rest of the team, consisting of Gustavo Loera, Rolando Leon and Robbie Sullivan, placed 33rd, 34th and 35th respectively. The team will be traveling throughout the semester to several other competitions in order to certify at different levels.
