The Rosebud-Lott HS cross country teams opened their season this past Friday at the Temple Pro-Fit Invitational Meet. The runners competed against other students in the 1A-4A division, pitting them against runners from larger schools. Rosebud-Lott faired well in both the girls and boys divisions, placing higher than in previous years.
“I believe all their hard work is beginning to pay off,” said Head Coach Hope Esseltine. “They had a good meet and worked on a lot of things that will help them later this year to be successful.”
The cross country teams will be back in action next Saturday morning at the Granger Lake Chase at Friendship Park in Granger. This time, middle school runners will be competing as well. Below are the individual results of the Pro-Fit Invitational.
