This past weekend 15 girls from the Rosebud-Lott powerlifting team traveled to Dublin, Texas for their regional competition. Below are the results.
97 lb Class-

123 lb Class-
1st place- Bailey Cannon
3rd place- La’lakeya Cummings
148 lb Class-
3rd place- Hayley Meadows
165 lb Class-
1st place- Sherlyn Mondragon
2nd place- Brooklyn Ballard
181 lb Class-
1st place- Lakia Cummings
198 lb Class-
2nd place- Allysun Tays
5th place- Kayla Sindle
Other members of the team that also participated include Elizabeth Rousseau from the 105 lb weight class, Kynleigh Mattair in the 114 lb class, Princess Ponce from the 132 lb class, Naleigh Costilla from the 198 lb class, and Leila Hicks in the 220 lb class. Melonie McCoslin in the 148 lb class and Yazmin Aldana from the 105 lb weight class were also able to qualify for regionals as alternates.
These 15 girls were able to defend their Regional Champion title for the 3rd year in a row. Congratulations to all the girls this year for such an amazing season!
6 girls qualified for state and will compete in Edinburg, Texas during Spring Break on March 12th. Qualifiers include Briana Loera, Bailey Cannon, Brooklyn Ballard, Sherlyn Mondragon, Lakia Cummings, and Allysun Tays.
