The Rosebud-Lott Cross Country teams participated in the district meet Monday, October 7th at Friendship Park in Granger. Both the Middle School teams and High School teams competed and placed among five other teams.
The high school girls team ran well with Salem Coker finishing 14th overall and advancing to the Regional meet.
“Everyone ran exceptionally well,” said head coach Hope Esseltine. “They showed incredible effort and determination to conclude the season on a difficult course.”
The middle school teams finished strong among the five other schools present in the district. The girls team finished as the 2nd place team for the district while the boys finished out of medal contention but still strong within the district.
“They had an incredible end to a fantastic season,” said Coach Esseltine.
Coker will be heading to the regional meet October 21st at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
