The Lady Cougar volleyball team has been competing on their home turf for the past week. They faced Groesbeck last Friday and won 3-0. Outstanding players of the game include Kayley Robertson and Jackie Salazar.
The Lady Cougars then faced Mumford on Monday in a non-district match-up, only to fall in a close game, three sets to two. The team traveled to Florida to end the week participating in the KSA Tournament where they are facing teams from around the country.
The Lady Cougar teams will be back in action next Tuesday, Sept. 5th at home against Texas Wind. Games begin with JV at 5pm.
