District UIL Academics

On Monday, March 21st and Wednesday, March 23rd, many Rosebud-Lott competed in the District 17 2A UIL Academic contests hosted by Moody High School. These events covered Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Speaking Events, and Debate. The results are as follows;

Lincoln Douglas Debate -Michael Michealwitz – 4th Place – Alternate to Region

Number Sense – Nik Caproni – 6th Place

Calculator Applications – Emma Ibarra – 1st – Advances to Region

Calculator Applications – Daniel Rodriguez – 2nd – Advances to Region

1st Place Calculator Applications Team – Emma Ibarra, Daniel Rodriguez, Christopher Powell and Sydney Parcus – Advances to Region

Science – Lucian Garcia – Alternate to Region for Biology

The students who advanced to regionals will compete again on April 22 & 23rd at Panola College in Carthage, TX.
