Boys Basketball competes in Cougar Classic

The annual basketball tournament, The Cougar Classic, was played over the semester break and the Cougars basketball team finished second, losing to Italy.

Throughout the tournament, the boys team worked together to rack up wins against Holland, Bluff Dale, and Caldwell. The team ultimately loss in the championship game against the Italy Gladiators 70-52.

The Cougars are currently 2nd in district behind Crawford. The team is on by week this week but will return to action next Tuesday, January 11th, versus Chilton in Chilton. Games begin at 5:00 with the JV and varsity following at 7pm.
